He has extensive experience in the fields of corporate law, and corporate governance, contractual arrangements, energy & natural resources, land & agricultural law. Iaroslav’s area of competence encompasses all legal aspects of M&A transactions (legal due diligence, share or asset purchase agreements (SPA/APA), corporate agreements, project financing, etc.), inbound and outbound investments (planning, consulting and structuring, regulatory matters, mechanisms for bringing in investments and profit repatriation, judicial protection, etc.) as well as business restructuring and litigation.
Prior to joining CMBS Partners, he was Counsel at a Big Four company, where he practiced corporate law and M&A and worked in the energy & natural resources industry, later Partner at one of the top law firms in Ukraine and finally Head of Legal at UAE-based investment company.
